South Atlantic League / MiLB
Insider Sports Marketing has been hired as the primary Marketing Company for the South Atlantic League as well as the Minor League baseball corporate office. The South Atlantic League started in 1903 as a Class C league and operated until 1907 when the first World War shortened it season. It resumed for a couple more years then suspended in 1936 due to the depression and suspended again in 1942 due to the Second World War In 1980 the Western Carolinas league brought back the SAL when it sought to change its identity. The South Atlantic league currently consists of 16 teams located in 8 states along the coast of the southeast United States. The 16 teams included in the South Atlantic League are: Asheville Tourists, Augusta GreenJackets, Bowling Green Hot Rods, Charleston Riverdogs, Delmarva Shorebirds, Greensboro Grasshoppers, Greenville Drive. Hagerstown Suns, Hickory Craw Dads, Kannapolis Intimidators, Lake County Captains, Lakewood Blue Claws, Lexington Legends, Rome Braves, Savannah Sand Gnats, and West Virginia Power.
Women's Professional Billiards Association
The Women's Professional Billiards Association (WPBA) was originally formed in 1976 but its first formal major market tour wasn't until 1993 and was named the Classic Billiard Tour. ESPN signed on for regular tour coverage in 1995, which covers 25 original 1 - hour broadcasts. The WPBA Tour is the most intense and competitive 9-ball tournament played in the world and is located in venues across the country. Insider Sports Marketing is proud to be in its second year with the WPBA as its Sponsorship Sales and Marketing Agency
Big Bass Tour
Insider Sports Marketing is excited to start their first year as the Sponsorship Sales and Marketing Agency for the Big Bass Tour. The Big Bass Tour (or BBT) is a premier bass tournament series for amateur anglers held on the nation's best big bass fisheries in California and Texas. The BBT promotes the sport of bass fishing and bass conversation with participation of thousands of amateur anglers from around the country. The tour begins at the end of February 2009 and runs until October.
Durham Hurricanes
Insider Sports Marketing is proud to partner with the Durham Hurricanes this year as a sponsor of their silent auction. The Durham Hurricanes is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide children ages 5 and up an opportunity to play sports in a competitive, supportive, and nurturing atmosphere. It is our belief that participation in sports enhances every area of youth development. Insider Sports Marketing was able to donate over 50 silent auction items raising over a thousand dollars to benefit this organization
Mid-Atlantic Sports Network
MASN required irrefutable evidence to prove to Time Warner Cable that sports fans in the southeast want a unique regional sports network to provide them with all the sporting events that other national sports networks do not air (read the full case study here).
BB&T
Wanting a creative and interactive promotion to reach markets in a large footprint, BB&T turned to Chip Hutchinson to create the "BB&T Triple Play Giveaway". Originally offered to just 5 markets in Minor League Baseball during the 2006 season, the promotion was so popular with executives, branches, and teams, it grew into 23 markets during the 2007 season.
State Farm
Focusing on high visibility and hospitality, Insider Sports Marketing created a web based promotion to tie into their "Good Neighbor" marketing efforts and handled the coordination of their hospitality suite nights for their local branches.
Hampton Farms
Working as a broker for Hampton Farms Peanuts, Insider Sports Marketing researches sports teams and venues to help expand their brand nationwide. We ease the negotiation and implementation process for both parties through our years of experience.
Greater NC Pro-Am Summer Basketball League
Greater NC Pro-AM is committed to enriching and strengthening the communities in which it serves. Professional athletes, collegiate players and local high school all-stars make up Greater NC Pro-AM teams. And, in addition to bringing current celebrities and next year's possible draft picks under one roof for the community's enjoyment, we also provide what we callGrassroots Mentoring... professional athletes who have a connection to our community come back to mentor local college players who in turn mentor and motivate area high school athletes.
